Augie and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on November 12th.

He surprised me with a weekend "getaway" at the Winfrey. We pretended we were out of towners. We ate a Shula's and did some shopping at the Galleria. It was super sweet and quite romantic.

This little Beagle mix wondered his way into our neighborhood. Our neighbor took him in only until she could find him a home. He would come over and play with Jack, and be sweet to us. For the first two weeks Augie said "don't even think about keeping him.... " I truly wasn't trying to. One night we were on the deck and Rosco was over playing. Augie says "Well... Call Paula if she doesn't mind, we'll keep him..." Long story short we have a new Puppy!!

This is the rocking chair I gave her. I wish I could take all of the credit but Racheal Spencer did the back part; all I did was paint the chair.

Owen and Monkey got to ride in the car with Daddy while they pushed him to the front straightway. I think the other boys thought it was pretty cool.

RJ and the twins plus Buger and Brady Cole came out to watch Augie race. I am glad that they enjoy it and are able to bring the boys. They had a good time on top of the hauler with their flags cheering for "Mr. Augie" This is Cole he is Owens new "track brother" He recently started coming around the hauler when Owen is there. He just steps right in as big brother and keeps Owen safe at the track. I love it, he gives me a bit of a break!

Caribe Resort, Orange Beach Florida- I highly recommend this place. It was absolutely amazing. water slides at all 3 pools, a lazy river, every amenity imaginable.

We had a wonderful time on our family trip this year. We went to the beach the first day down, but of course I didn't have my camera. Owen loved the sand and played the whole time. Augie and him buried my legs and Owen and I had a sand fight. He only liked the water if Augie or Brandon were holding him. He liked the seagulls, he would yell "M'ere birds." The Hughes family were the as well which was wonderful because it gave Owen someone to play with. He gets along the the twins so well. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but its hard to carry a camera in a bikini and keep it dry. Plus we all know my luck and cameras....

We went to this marina near the lake house to feed these 50 pound carp. We were a little sceptical at first, but for sure there they were these huge fish. The man gives you a bag of crackers, you stick your hand down and all of a sudden there they come. It was really neat. Owen loved it. He wouldn't do it himself though, maybe next year.

I told him that he was going to help Daddy bring in the sod on the four wheeler, so he insisted on wearing his helmet. That didn't last very long and neither did his clothes..... it was extremely hot and muggy that day. We are only 2 pallets away from having a green back yard. Yeah!!!!

Augie and I took Owen to see Dora last night. We had a blast. Poor baby he was exhausted. He has been running a fever off and on for 2 days, plus he went to AL Adv. yesterday with his cousins.Little trooper, made it all the way through the show and and almost the whole way home. Watching him interact with the characters is amazing. Augie and I just looked at each other and smiled. That is the good stuff!

These are some other pictures of our trip to FL to visit with my family. Owen was so sweet with Isabella. He wanted to help change her and feed her and hold her. When she cried he said "Baby cryin' go get her!" He would hand her a book and say "here baby read!" The other pic is Lindsay and Brian. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures while I was there. I always do that and then kick myself for not. Anyhow, Owen swam with water wings for the first time. He loved it; jumping off the side of the pool and swimming to me. He let us throw him in the air and go under. It was fun, but it made me kind of sad to see how much he has grown.

Friday Owen and I were out on the front porch, when we spotted a roly poly. He is so interested in "Eww Bugs" right now. Anyhow, the roly poly ran and hid under the rug, instead of leaving the poor thing alone I lift up the rug. Holy Majoly if I would have know how disgusting it was going to be I would have thought twice. Below are the pictures of the nasty infestation we discovered. It was absolutely horrible.
