Quick Update

Hello everyone! I thought I would let everyone know that we are doing just fine. We are starting to get the hang of things. Owen is really doing well with nursing; so well in fact that his Ped. was amazed at the amount I am pumping and the amount that he is taking. We left the hospital weighing 7lbs and 3oz, we now after one week are back at 7lbs and 12oz. My little man has an appetite that's for sure. He is wishy washy on his sleep habits though; some nights he will sleep four hours between feedings and others it is every two on the dot. We will get it all figured out with time. Anyhow, I miss you guys at UAB, I can't say I am ready to come back but a visit is in the very near future. Thank you for all of the sweet comments, we love you.

OWEN HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!

Our little man Owen Parker Grill was born today at 12:08 p.m. He weighs 7lb. 13oz is 21 inches long and has a head full of dark brown hair (like his daddy). Mommy is fine and is resting. Stay tuned for more info and pics

Due Date Update

Well we just came from the doctors office and I am still at 2cm and 50% . Therefore they are going to induce me Monday morning. We have to be there at 5:00am, for those of you who want to be present just let me know and we can call and maybe give you a better time frame day of. So.... Monday March 26th 2007

The count down has begun

Well as of yesterday I am 2cm. Yeah!!! However, he said that if Owen has not come on his own by the 26th (our due date) we will induce on that day. So... he will definitely be here on or before the 26th. I am so excited I can hardly wait. I will keep you all posted as time draws near.

Congrats 2007 Miss Yellow Jacket

Congratulations to Brianna. She is the daughter of one of my good friends Barb. This was her very first pageant and she won Miss Photogenic and Miss Yellow Jacket for the 5th grade. Yes, I said 5th grade she is only 11 yrs old.
