Little miss Eva is now a little over a week old and doing great. She is still in the RNICU at UAB and will be for about 3 weeks. She has lost a little weight but its nothing she can't gain back. The reason for the early delivery was due to her very high heart rate and Renea's very high blood pressure (that is the short version of a scary 3 weeks). However, soon after delivery they both went back to normal. She was placed on a ventilator for a couple of days, but is back on room air. She pulled both of her IVs out and they do not think they will put them back in. She is definitely a trooper and living up to her name.
There will be new pics of baby Eva to come. Please keep her in your prayers. She is tough, but she is still a premie.
We will be hosting a shower for Renea as soon as possible. However, if you would like to go ahead a help out by sending a gift Renea is registered at Babies R Us.

Both mother and baby are doing well. Renea came through the procedure like a real trooper only dry heaving a few times....lol... and that little 4 lb angel was squealing with delight....
