Tagged

I can kind of play..... I went to my snapfish 4th folder 4th picture. Unfortunatley they save as thumbnails. Anyhow this is one of the pictures from Owens' six month shoot.
I tag Angela R. Brandi G. Franki R. and Angela L.
The object of the picture tag is to:
1) Choose the 4th folder where you store your pictures on your computer.
2) Select the 4th picture in the folder.
3) Explain the picture.
4) Tag 4 people to do the same. No cheating (cropping, editing, etc.) Have fun!!!

Still no USB cord....

I figured since I still can't upload any pictures I would tell you about what going on with O. I look at every one's blog and you guys really keep us informed. So here goes.... Owen talks alot ,no kidding ALOT. He says everything you say. It is really funny so of course I ag it on and say big words like Pennsylvania and idiosyncrasy. He says "Thank you Mommy" or who's ever name he is talking to. He hollers and Jackson through the door when he barks to much telling him "Hush Jack Jack" he says when he is "thirsy" or his cup is "empy". He has to have "pidow" and "Munty" whenever he is sleepy or watching cartoons. By the way Munty (Monkey) is half the size of me so it is quite funny to watch him lug it around. He sings with the TV and copies anything they say. He can sing "Ity Pidor" and "Inkle Tar" hand movements included. We are in the process of learning "Skidermarinky dinky dink" remember from the elephant show. He is so funny when he does it because his arms aren't long enough to put his elbow on top of his hand. He knows knee, elbow, hands, fingers, toes/piggy's, head, and of course eyes, ears, nose, mouth, tongue, teeth, and belly button. He knows blue, red, green, and yellow. We are working on numbers but aren't quite there yet. Owen loves the potty he likes to sit on it and wipe himself even though he hasn't done anything. I am not pushing it I figure when he is ready he will do it. I think that is about it. Oh how could I forget... he loves loves loves CARS.. not the movie but cars in general. Everything is "Race Car" or "Daddy Car" and if I say "Daddy is at work" he replies "Work Car" he points out cars on the road, in parking lots, and god forbid we go to the race track.
(It blows my mind how smart kids are.)
He is so incredibly loving and affectionate. He is simply amazing.
Well I guess I have filled you in on just about everything he is doing. I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday.

MY COMMENT

I honestly don't know what to say in response to the comments that were brought to my attention. I am not angry, however, I am saddened by the fact that I have to monitor the pictures and posts that I put on my personal blog for my friends and family. I never asked anyone to view my blog. I never asked anyone to agree with anything I decided to post.
I am disturbed by the things that I read about myself and my son. I was called a bad mother, a pedophile, a pornographer. My son, a child, was made fun of and teased... by people who felt that their opinion was in my child's best interest. There were several comments that my child should be taken away from me because I exploit his genitalia. I can think of far worse things that are happening to children in this world. Are you commenting to those parents? Are you cursing them and condemning them? Or are you too busy attacking me?
I have deleted the images and the comments that somehow caused this mess. I apologize to my friends and family who may have read anything that was written about me or Owen.
I WILL NOT shut down my blog, nor will I tip toe around anything I see fit to post.
I love my child dearly and I would do anything in my power to protect him. I say this not in my defense but as a bold statement to anyone who dare accuse me otherwise.

Nonetheless, I will make my blog private from now on. I apologize for the inconvenience to my friends and family.

Thank You All.

Updates

I know that I haven't said much about baby Eva in a while... I guess since she is doing so well I thought there was nothing to report. However, I have been asked several times about her so here it is the latest.... We had a big scare a while back; they thought she had a condition called Biliary Atresia, worst case scenario she would need a liver transplant, but she did not have it thank GOD!!! Since then she has grown to 11 plus pounds. All of her jaundice is gone and she is eating, breathing, pooping, cooing, smiling, crying, sleeping, and everything else a "normal" newborn does. I am sitting for them this weekend so I will have some new pictures soon. Also Regean was in pageant this past weekend, she was so beautiful. I will try and get pics of her up also.
I haven't mentioned much about Zoey either, she is doing well. She lives with her Grandparents in Oakgrove now. She likes being back at her old school with her old friends and being in the place where she started the first part of her life. I would like to think that she misses every moment of living with me but, I know that is not true. She does miss Owen alot... She has been getting to see him more and more. Owen stays with my cousin Sharon (who lives near Zoey) some weekend and anytime I get in a bind. Her girls are the same age a s Zoey so between the three of them they keep Owen in line.
In other news, Franki found out that we will have a new Baby Girl in the family come May!!!!! Her name will be Isabella Brynn Robinson (or Brinn I am not sure of the spelling yet). We are very excited needless to say.
We are going to see Santa this weekend so I will have that picture as well.
I have tons of pictures on my camera but I am missing my USB cord. as soon as I find it I will update everything. Oh and as for me I am fine same ol' same ol' if you were wondering.

Big Congratulations !!!!

Over the last dozen laps of the 41st Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, Augie Grill drove like a man possessed. The fact that he had won this race one year before didn’t satisfy his hunger for victory. In fact, it might have just added to his appetite. During those laps, Grill wheeled his #112 through lapped traffic and chased after Brian Ickler. But when the race hit 300 laps, the checkered flag waved and Grill just didn’t get to Ickler in time.“I just wanted to win,” said Grill, minutes after the race ended. “It’s a competitive spirit. Every race that I’m in I want to win, no questions asked." “We kind of figured this would happen for the last hour and they were all in a meeting talking about it,” said Grill. “I hate to win one like this. I’ve been thrown out of qualifying and races. so it is what it is. I’ll take it. I think my car was faster than his anyways.”

The end result of the weekend though is that Grill will go down as a two-time winner of the Snowball Derby. The Alabama driver, who is the son of famed car builder Frankie Grill, has secured a place in the history books by becoming only the eighth multi-time winner in the history of the Derby.

Lunch Pictures

I can't remember when we took these. Anyhow, this was about the time Owen started his anti- mommy phase. He is so in love with his Daddy.

Wearin Mama's Shoes

Happy Birthday Maw Maw

These are some old pictures I found from August. It was Maw Maw's birthday party at Stix. We had a good time and she got some lovin from Owen.

Family Trip to Walmart

We stopped by the new Walmart in Hueytown and it turned into a whole afternoon family trip.
This thing was really neat.... There was a man operating it, but I didn't see him.... so when he was calling us by name and interacting in our conversation I turned instantly into a little kid. He moved and talked and made facial expression and jokes... he was AWESOME. I was more excited than Owen. Oh well!

We ended our trip with a quick hair cut that Owen was desperately in need of
lets go home Daddy

Happy Halloween!

Here is our first Jack-o-lantern!!!! Michael, Andi , Micah, and Alston came over and we carved pumpkins. The boys could have cared less about it so Michael and I carved them by ourselves. Once we got them outside and lit them Owen and Micah were all about them. They kept trying to blow them out.

Halloween night we went to Brandi and tucker's house to trick or treat and eat sweets. Aiden, Austin, and some of the neighborhood kids were there it was lots of fun. Brandi made chili and lots of other snacks for everyone. Owen had a good time trick or treating. He still would say it but, he loved putting his candy in his pumpkin. He especially enjoyed the Jack-o-lanterns!!!

Owens costume. He was the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Unfortunately, the 2T costume was a little small so the hat sat on top of his head, and his gloves were tight so I couldn't get a full picture of him. He also ripped of the bow tie but Oh well he was cute. I caught him holding hands with his costume hands. It was sweet.

Dear Friends and family,

It is with the greatest of pleasure that we can announce that our little baby Eva has finally come home. We were discharged from Childrens Hospital in Birmingham a week ago last friday and hit the door running. ( of course they tell us we are being discharged at 8 in the morning and then we have to sit and wait in anxious anticipation until 5pm when they turn us loose into afternoon traffic.) About 6 hours later we managed to navigate the 30 or so miles to our home, (sarcasm) and took our little pink ribbon off of the mailbox to signify that our newest addition had finally arrived. Little Eva is doing fantastic. She is up to 8 lbs. and 6 oz. and does everything a full term baby does ( eat, sleep and poop ) and more. She also grunts, gnaws, moves her head from side to side etc. I can only imagine how hard it is for her to move her head with that gigantic Giles brain in there but I guess she will adapt as I have. (har har ) We are left with a myriad of follow-up appointments some of which we have already been to and our last little hurdle will be getting her liver/ gall bladder to function properly which we think for now can be managed with medicines. I know that there are a ton of people we need to thank for the thoughtfulness and prayers that have gone up for our little Bit , many of whom we will probably never meet like the congregation of my mothers church in Dallas, Texas and Judy Combs and her church in McDill, McOklahoma...( lol ) ( I know its Madill, OK but McDill fit better) and numerous others that we certainly appreciate. I hope everyone knows how much it means to a couple of parents sitting in a hospital intensive care unit gazing upon there new little baby knowing that people from Florida to California are praying for her good health and speedy recovery. Our eternal thanks go out to all of you. You have made this whole chaotic mess alot easier to live through. We wish you all the very best and all of our love and good will is extended to you all. Watch for hopefully less significant updates in the future, like Eva spit up on her dad and it was very funny or something like that. Once again thank you all and enjoy the latest pictures.
Love to All,
Clay and Renea

Eva Update

Dear Friends and family,

Well first of all let me apologize for taking so long to send out an update. I know I have waited to long when my cell phone starts ringing more than twice a day. When we last left you little Eva was doing great with all that she was up against. Tubes and wires everywhere and recovering from surgery. They finally started to feed her formula, beginning at 5cc's. ( I know what you are thinking, thats not very much, but for those of you who have ever tasted or smelled baby formula 5cc's is a lifetime supply for the ol' Claymonster) She took her measly 5 cc's and did good so they started increasing her feeds by 5cc's daily until she got to 25 cc's. Then much like beer is to a younger Clay it just wasn't enough. She went from 25 to 40 to 50 to 55 to 65 in a matter of 2 days and that is classified as a full feed for an infant....Yee Haaa Hooray for little Eva.... After we tackled the the whole feeding issue we faced our next obstacle, POOPING...... we waited and waited and waited for the elusive and distinctive smell of the old dirty diaper and it never came. After they gave her a suppository she would poop but she would not go by herself.... (she's so modest.....just like her mother.....cough cough.) The Neonatologist then started mentioning things to Renea like maybe she has another blockage or perhaps they didn't remove enough of her large intestine which made my whole world tougher because then i was trying to be supportive to two babies. The doctor even made the comment on Friday as she was leaving for the weekend that "If she doesn't go by herself over the weekend then I am going to order a lower GI (Barium Enema) on Monday." Then today it came. It reared its ugly head. I went to the hospital first thing this morning for my now traditional Sunday morning power breakfast. The nurse informed me that she made a little smudge in her diaper overnight and elation ensued.... I was thrilled. The nurse equated it to a thumb print and kind of burst my balloon as she handed me Eva's bottle for me to feed her. About 5 minutes into breakfast I started getting suspicious because of her grunting and her face turning bright red and then came the smell...............she pooped more than a smudge....this was a smidgen... I changed her diaper which is kind of like working a possessed marionette with all of the tubes and wires and me being out of practice for 7 years and Eva fighting me every step of the way, then we continued feeding........she started grunting and her face started turning bright red again....and then the smell came again..... I felt like a child at Christmas this one was even bigger than the smidgen. So I changed her diaper again (10 minutes each time....seriously) and we resumed. Well evidently 2 times during breakfast was not enough and her insides did some kind of exorcism on all of the waste products in her body. She smugly smiled as I was forced to change her diaper a third time in 30 minutes and the nurse commented that that one was definitely a Jumbo. To make a really long story short, she began pooping just in the nick of time and we are waiting with baited breath to see what the doctors say tomorrow. She might actually get to come home this week!!!!!!!! She is up to 8 lbs. and 2 oz. and is no longer attached to anything other than a set of leads monitoring her vital signs. That poor little baby has had I.V.s in every part of her body including her head and they are finally all gone. Every ones prayers and good wishes paid off big for us and we are eternally grateful. Sorry the email is so long but I couldn't help myself. Hopefully my next update will be our last but if its not that's OK we will continue to deal with these issues as they come up. Have a great day and enjoy our Halloween pictures.

All of our love to you all.

80's Karaoke Night

My neighbor and his girlfriend came over to sing 80's karaoke one night so Owen and I dressed the part. Not really, anytime I have my hair pulled back in a head band he goes and gets one to wear too. It just worked out that we sang 80's songs.

A visit with Brandi and Micah Gray

He is so sweet with babies.
No that does not mean he needs a baby bro or sis.
