Happy Birthday PePaw

PePaw turned the big 65 last week so we all got together to celebrate. I thought it would be funny to give the kids silly string, it didn't fair to well with Frank. We all got a good laugh!

I have a bunch more pictures to post from Jen and RJ's, visit with Scott and Lynn, Franks Birthday and we are going to the lake this weekend. I don't have time to finish today, but I promise Monday when I return I will get them all on here.
Also we went to the doctor Wednesday for his 1 month check up he is doing great. He is now 8 lbs and 12 oz 22.5 in. he is sleeping, eating, and pooping just like any other one month old should. Anyhow, have a great weekend and we will keep you all posted.

We went to visit Scott and Lynn Wednesday. It was nice to see them it has been a long time since we were able to hang out. Now we just need cousins August and John Thomas to hang out with.

We went to Jenifer and RJ's house in Chelsea Sunday. We had such a good time riding 4 wheelers and playing softball with the kids toys. Owen did what he does best and slept. The boys kept busy with each other. We are really looking forward to more weekends out there.

Race number 2

Augie is so proud of his new son. He makes sure to hold him so that everyone can see him. It is so sweet. I took this picture while he was telling Owen all about race cars.
We took Owen to his second race this weekend, in Mobile. Again he did great. He is such a good little traveler. We went in the big truck this time instead of the car, but still he slept the whole way there, the whole race and the whole way home. I am really enjoying it now because I know it won't be like that forever.

We miss you Brandi

Owen got to meet his far away "Aunt" Brandi this weekend. She lives in Georgia so this is the first time she has gotten to come over since he was born. We hope to see more of you this summer. We love you and miss you!

My little Jack Jack turn 1 yesterday. I can't believe my little puppy is a big dog now. He is such a good dog. We were going to have a party for him but he was way to dirty. So we went ahead and gave him his present, a yummy Meaty Knuckle. He really enjoyed it.









I tried to get a picture of Jack and Owen together but he was to busy with his present to care. I will have some better pics next week. Don't tell Jack but he is going to the vet Monday for a bath teeth cleaning and to get neutered :(
Once he is all clean I am going to do a photo session with the both of them. It shouldbe pretty interesting.

First "Real" Outfit

Here he is in his first big boy (not premie) outfit. Shoes and everything! Notice the spiked hair just like all the other big boy cool guys.

I was so happy to see him fit into somthing other than a onesie.

This is Michai's mommy Andi.

She is Mommy's new buddy. She and her husband Michael have been such a big help to Augie and I. They watch after Jackson while we are out of town and help me with Owen when ever I need a break. It is good to have someone right next door you can count on.

Owens Buddy

This is Michai he lives next door. He is going to be Owens buddy he is 18 months so he is a little ahead of him, but that only means more trouble for them to get into.

Tummy Time

So here we are attempting tummy time. I thought that maybe we should try it on the soft teddy chair in case his little face hit the ground. Mommy should have thought it out a little better. He wasn't lifting his head at all.... only his butt. Needless to say he was not a happy boy.

so then I thought maybe he would like to lay on his back with one of his play mats. Good idea right.... 3 seconds later top of the lungs!!!

Then I got an even better idea. He loves his Boppy :) Look how good my little guys is at holding his head up. I am so proud. He got bored not 5 minutes later, buried his face and cried, so we moved on....

Give her a minute folks she will figure it out. We liked the playmat for a second and we really liked the boppy so.... Yeah my little monkey is happy!!! But oh-yea we were suppose to be doing tummy time

Duh mom... there we go!! And he did so well he just fell right to sleep.

Big Boy Bath

Owen and I got in the big tub today. He really liked it especially the jets on his back. These are the best pictures I could get considering I didn't want to drop my camera or get any of me!

Happy Birthday Mike!

We went to a birthday party at Superior Grill last night, as you can see Owen was spoiled rotten the whole time. It was good to see everyone. He didn't seem to mind the music or all the people.

Starting him out Early

We took Owen to his first race this weekend. He did so good, all he did was sleep. Daddy did good too, he led 80 of 100 laps. His car was awsome we are very proud of you Daddy.

We went to the shop to visit Daddy and Pepaw. Owen weighs 8 lbs now (according to the car scales).

Owen and the "Hillbillies"

We went to Severville TN Easter weekend to visit our friends and to pick up a motor. Owen did great he slept the whole way there and back. Thank you, Rob and April for everything we had a great time and can't wait to come back!
